Important Update: NSE Reschedules Bakri Eid Holiday - Action Required for NinjaTrader 8 Users

Hello!

Today, on June 27, 2023, NSE has made an important announcement regarding the Bakri Eid Holiday. The date for the holiday has been changed by NSE.

Previously scheduled for June 28, 2023, it has now been rescheduled to June 29, 2023.

All Pix Connect users are required to follow the instructions provided below to ensure a smooth transition:

Please note that there are no changes for users of Amibroker, Advanced Get, Metastock, Multicharts, NinjaTrader 7 and Excel.

For user of NinjaTrader 8, it is necessary to modify the date in the NSE Template. 

Here are the steps to follow:

Method 1:- Update the Date through exe (For Accelpix Users Only):

Step 1: Close NinjaTrader 8 and download the NinjaTrader 8 Holiday Update exe file by clicking on the following link: [Accelpix_Ninjatrader8_Holiday_Update >> Click Here

Step 2: Once the download is complete, run the NinjaTrader 8 Holiday Update exe file.

Please note the NinjaTrader 8 should close before running this exe

Step 3: Open NinjaTrader 8, and your data flow should resume as usual.

Method 2: Manually Update (in case the above exe file does not work):

Please adhere to the steps outlined below to manually update the date:

Step 1: Open NinjaTrader and navigate to Tools >> Trading Hours.

Step 2: Under Trading Hours, select the NSE Template.

Step 3: Within the template, you will find the Bakri Eid holiday listed as June 28, 2023. Click on Edit 

Step 4: Modify this date to June 29, 2023.

 

Step 5: Click OK and save the changes.

If you have any open charts, right-click on the chart and select "Reload All Historical Data."
