How to watch Playback / Market Replay in NinjaTrader 8 ?

Hello All,

The playback/market replay feature is too significant to check the data after market hours or on the weekend, the Playback Connection delivers Market Replay data to all NinjaTrader windows for SIM trading as if you were trading in real-time. It is too useful to backtest your indicator or strategy.

You can use Playback/market Replay Feature using Pix Connect (RT Data Plugin). 

Let's see how to set Playback Connection.

Step 1:-  Open NInjaTrader 8 Contol Center

Step 2:- Go to the Tools >> Historical Data 

Step 3:- Now in Historical data option click on >>  Load (at the bottom)

Step 4:-  Select the options as below.

Step 5:-  Now Click on Download 

Step 6:- After Downloading Historical Data, please go to the connections and disconnect " My Accelpix "

Step 7:- Now to the Connection again and select the "Playback Connection"

Step 8:- Select the things as shown below.

Step 9:- Now go to the Charts >> New and Open NIFTY_I ( Select the instrument which you want to see in "Playback" )

This is how Playback is working in NinjaTrader 8.
